Dryer Vent Clean

What we will do to clean your dryer and dryer vent:

Is your dryer not drying your clothes as efficiently as it used to?

Does it emit a musty odor every time you run a cycle?

If so, it might be time to give your dryer a thorough cleaning. Regular maintenance not only ensures your dryer operates at its best but also reduces the risk of fire hazards.

Safety first! Before starting any cleaning procedure, we always disconnect your dryer from its power source to avoid any accidents.

Clean the Lint Trap:

The lint trap is one of the most critical components of your dryer. Remove the lint screen and give it a good vacuuming. We use a soft brush to dislodge any stubborn debris stuck in the mesh.

 Vacuum the Interior

We use a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment to remove lint and debris from the interior of the dryer. Paying close attention to the area surrounding the lint trap, as lint tends to accumulate there. We are thorough but gentle to avoid damaging any sensitive components.

Clean the Drum

We use air pressure to push the lent away from the heating elements and into the hose that expels the lint. We will also vacuum around the heating elements area.

Check the Ventilation System

We will inspect the dryer's ventilation system, including the exhaust hose and vent opening. Remove any lint buildup or obstructions that may restrict airflow. A clogged ventilation system not only reduces drying efficiency but also poses a significant fire risk.

Drill Powered Duct Brush and Air Pressure

Utilizing a 20v electric drill, fiberglass poles, and a nylon brush we will clean the exhaust vent from the dryer to the exterior of the home cleaning out any lint that has become trapped in the hose and pipe. During this process a shop vacuum is also used to catch any lint from the vent. Keeping your home as clean as possible during the process.

Reassemble, Test, and Recommendations

Once we have completed all the cleaning steps, reassemble the lint trap, plug in your dryer, and run a test cycle to ensure everything is functioning correctly. Enjoy the peace of mind knowing your dryer is clean and ready to tackle your laundry needs efficiently! We will also let you know if we find any deficiencies and make recommendations for any needed repairs.

Regular maintenance is key to keeping your dryer in top condition and prolonging its lifespan. By following these simple steps, you can ensure your dryer operates safely and efficiently for years to come. Don't wait until problems arise – incorporate dryer cleaning into your regular household maintenance routine to avoid costly repairs down the line.

We will add your name and phone number to our list and will reach out once per year and ask if you would like us to return to keep your dryer and vent maintained.
